You know, Laura, activism is different in other countries such as the States or Germany. I´ve just visited Dogwood Alliance site and blog, it seems that they deal in interesting current issues as climate change, topic that is closely related to woods. Forests are suffering irreversible damage. For instance, that reminds me of people who practised tree sitting or chaining themselves to a tree. Unfortunately, there are another chilhood experiences. Spreading fast food song.
For me is a bit hard to understand all the sentences in the video,but is a good message that should be transmitted to our children of that age, perhaps in the english classes in the schools. We would achieve several objetives: to teach english vocabulary, practice listening, english expressions...and educate the students about our role in take care about the environment. By the way: I will try to learn the fast food song and the "choreography".It´s funny..jajaja
